Would you be panic when one day all your top items are only valuable for the vendor? You should take the initiative instead of waiting for that day. Item 2.0 and Reaper of Souls would turn all the current items into junk. If you sell your items now, you can accumulate the Diablo 3 Gold for future use.

Item 2.0 Challenge. The them of 2.0 is “Fewer drops with better quality”. When this is launched, there would be many items with better stats just like the roll out of the account bound items of the gloves, shoulders and amulet. Items you are so proud of would become lower grade. Although ROS may be still a long way away, item 2.0 is not so far away.
