The Developer Journal Update has made it clear that there would be a great change in the Rare drops. The drops would be few but super. But how can this happen? Would the game add new Legendary items and Rare items or just add some new stats? Which kind would you like?

All New Legendaries: It would turn a pretty fine weapon into garbage if there is no socket and critical hit damage even it is with high sheet damage and main stats like Dexterity and attack speed of 1.68. I just farmed in the Act one and loot a Dagger for the Monk. It is really pleased to see that the Dagger is with 907 DPS, +224 Dexterity and 1.68 Attack Speed. But there is no socket, life steal or life on hit stat. What’s worse, there is no critical hit damage stats. I know this worth nothing in the Auction House. It makes me feel down really. IF there would be some new legendary items added in the patch 1.0.8, it would give us players some joy.

All Reworked Legendaries: Like the Inna set for Monk, there are legacy and New difference. In the new legendaries, the main stats have been upgraded largely. I have a Skorn in my stash without life steal stats and could not sell out even at 500,000 normal mode Diablo 3 Gold. But if there is a single stats of Life steal, it would make great difference. It would be worth 50,000,000 D3 Gold with a 4.2% Life steal stats. If there would be a increase chance to get Skorn with life steal stats, it would make our day.

Mix of the New and Reworked Legendaries: Completely new items would be too much work for the developers maybe. They could actually get the mix of the new and reworked legendaries for our players. It would give the surprises as well as the decrease the working pressure of developers.
